This blog was started by Laila in 2014 when her newly found addiction to reading started and made her create this blog, to share her thought about the books she was reading. In 2015, Farah officially joined and partnered up with Laila, to share her thoughts and opinions about reading. A little about us:
I’m 21 years old and I’m currently a student, studying IBMS (International Business and Management Studies). I’m a very passionate reader who gets deeply invested in the books I read if I love them. My problem is that I’m quite picky about books I choose to read and I intend to read tons of reviews and ask my friends opinions before starting any book.
Over the years, my taste in reading has changed dramatically. At first, I mostly read YA (Young Adult) but lately, I noticed a lot of repetition in the plot that I decided I need a fresh genre to get me out of reading slumps. Now, I started reading more NA (new adult) genre and absolutely love it. In my opinion, NA fits in-between YA and Adult books. It has a similar coming of age feel as YA books but rather than people experiencing their first kisses the content and issues used is more mature such as first serious relationships and heartbreak. Another genre I’m trying to get into is Psychological Thriller or Mystery genre.
My ideal book involves usually involve a love story that makes my heart race. stories that take my breath away, makes my laugh, makes me cry, makes me swoon and curse out loud at the main characters. bottom line is, I’m a sucker for a love story with a happy ending. Maybe the reason I’m seeking this kind of stories is that I’m lacking romance? lol, we will never know.
Lastly, I started by Instagram account (@foksha_1996) in 2015 and I’m so glad I joined this community and having the opportunity to meet great friends and authors from all around the world. I have sometimes haven up on reading or continue working on the blog, but with their support and love I won;t have achieved what I have accomplished so far.
I hope you’ll enjoy browsing around and please do leave me comments – I love hearing what other readers have to say, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, and I’d also love to hear any recommendations you might have for me.

I’m a 17-year-old senior in high school who has been a bookaholic pretty much her entire life. I’m aiming to study Medicine in university and be one badass doctor at some point of my life, which makes me a Science nerd in a way, but I carry it with pride. Reading keeps me sane, in touch with myself and my imagination and it somehow grounds me to my surroundings. I think everything I read taught me something I wouldn’t have learned elsewhere, and this alone keeps me going. I mostly read YA and Dystopian books, but I’m a BIG fan of Historical Fiction and Sci-Fi although I haven’t read many books in those genres. My favourite book is definitely All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven and the reason behind is that I lent this book to someone I liked and it brought us together and we’ve been together ever since! (Cheesy, I know, but it’s the truth)

I’m always open to trying new genres and I’ve found some of my favourites in genres I don’t usually turn to, such as NA and Middle Grade.
I also run a bookstagram account on the side and it got me to know SO many people who fangirl with me over book releases and fictional characters, so it’s my second home! You can find me there @biblioleilah and be a part of our big bookish family there too!
